published by mspattia on October 07,2011 I love this flat iron. It truly gets so close to the roots and I can finally reach the smooth style I'm trying to get! My only compliant and an important one is that the ceramic plating or gold color is coming off!. Now is that really ceramic plating or just paint?

published by madeinkiki on January 03,2011 I heard thinner plates were good for flyaways. I tried looking for one at Walmart and Sephora but they didn't have any. I was debating if I should pay $5 more for the temperature control but since I have thick hair I don't think it made a difference. So I gave it to my friend with thinner color treated hair and got another non-adjustable one for $15 a pop. The thin plates rock because I have these awful flyaways on the top of my hair. I didn't get the curved plates at first but they help grip the hair. I felt like I had more control. Now I can't live without this iron along with my 1.5 inch.!!!
